They are holding a public meeting tonight, March 4 from 7-9:00 p.m. at Langston Hughes Middle School, 11401 Ridge Heights Road, Reston (map). Bruce, this is fantastic. VDOT proposing a road diet! Is there a VDOT project manager? I wrote to Supervisor Hudgins but feel like that's preaching to the choir. She gets it. I checked VDOT's website but couldn't find information on the project. This would be a great model for the county. The great thing about road diets is they really do make conditions better for ALL users, including motorists.
