4.60.3 miPickett RdLCross Pickett Rd. Note. If necessary, there is a crosswalk about 100 yards further north by the Gateway Regional Park. Turn left on Pickett Rd, and continue, crossing Route 50.

5.70.6 miTrailLImmediately after crossing Lee Highway, turn left and cross Circle Woods Drive. Follow the trail north through East Blake Lane Park to Saintsbury Drive.

8.3150 FtRanger RoadRTurn right on Ranger Road and go a few yards to its end. Notice the fence and stream. It is a few hundred feet to Viera Lane and Route 123, or Chain Bridge Road. The proposed trail through here, or from Chain Bridge Road eastward along the stream, would be a good route for residents in the northwest corner of the City of Fairfax to reach the Metro station.

8.80.5 miRanger RoadUMake a U turn on Ranger Rd. and continue eastward, returning to Plantation Parkway.

9.00.2 miPlantation Parkway.RTurn right on Planation Pkwy, crossing the stream, to Fairfax Blvd, (aka Routes 29 and Route 50). The proposed trail along the stream would cross Planation Parkway, and could continue through Stafford Drive Park on the east side of the Parkway, and through Ranger Road Park.

9.60.6 miFairfax BlvdRTurn right on Fairfax Blvd, riding on the sidewalk, unless light westbound traffic permits safe use of the right lane of Fairfax Blvd. Notice the parkland on your right; the location of the proposed trail. Cross Eaton Place and continue on the sidewalk until you can enter the Fairfax Shopping Center. Enter the shopping center near Hooters and continue westward to the traffic light exiting onto Fairfax Blvd. Notice the position of the pedestrian crossing buttons.
